Lake County Clerk Robin O'Connor is a 35-year resident of Lake County who has developed a wealth of management experience to her position as Lake County Clerk.
Her background in teaching has awarded her the tools to view situations with unparalleled perspectives. O'Connor has degrees in Administration Education from Northern Illinois University, an Masters Degree in Administration Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. She also taught at Northwestern University in the Center for Talent Development Program and National Louis University as an adjunct professor. She is also working to obtain her doctorate in administration from Northern Illinois University. O'Connor also served as a Libertyville Township Trustee for 12 years, served on the Libertyville Days Committee, is a Past Boy and Girl Scout Leader and served as a chair at school fundraisers. She also served a the Lake County Area Representative for the Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and as Secretary and Treasurer for the Lake County Curriculum Resource Council (LCCRC). O'Connor has four grown children with her husband Dennis. She also serves as mom to four wonderful dogs: Liberty, Glory, Banner and Rex. |
